Combination Grates
Combination Grates include the insert or grate, and the surround as one, in a complete one-unit fireplace, often smaller in size. These are mainly Victorian and Edwardian, and include arched openings with no tiles, or alternatively square openings, usually tiled.
Finish is usually polished or burnished cast iron. These can be fitted with a slate hearth, fitted flush to most flooring types.
