Edwardian Chimneypiece
Edwardian chimneypiece c. 1900, Italian Carerra marble with Rouge marble roundels and slips.
The Rouge marble was quarried in Cork, also known as "Cork Red" and often featured in Strain built houses at the turn of the century.
Original cast iron insert featuring art nouveau tulip design, paired with original tube-lined tiles also featuring art nouveau design, very popular in Edwardian times.
